About Us

The Saddleworth Players is a thriving amateur Theatre Company based in the  Players Theatre, Millgate Centre, Delph.  As well as participating in the four year cycle of Saddleworth Festival of Arts, Saddleworth Players produce many plays every year.

Besides producing FIVE main house plays each year, One Act Festival plays which tour the North of England performing in Festival, taking part in Literature exhibitions at the Libraries with live readings, the Society still finds time to host Festivals for outside organizations and of course, stage Saddleworth Festival of the Arts events.

We always have room for new actors, workers on stage, backstage helpers, front of the house staff and people to serve behind the bar.
